EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps individuals heal from trauma by reprocessing distressing memories. During sessions, a therapist guides the client in recalling memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, taps, or sounds. This reduces the emotional impact of the memories and fosters healthier perspectives. EMDR is effective for PTSD, anxiety, and phobias, promoting adaptive healing.
